Project Summary
Bennco Engineering was contracted by Rio Tinto to design, fabricate and install four diversion chutes and four insertion chutes at the Paraburdoo mine site. The project required nine metre drop pipes from the fourth floor of the screenhouse to the ground (a drop distance of 13 metres). The scope of work also included screenhouse washdown through three floors and nine metres to the ground of screenhouse.

Key Outcomes
After measuring up on-site visit, all required items were fabricated in our Tom Price workshop, with comprehensive transport logistics management for efficient delivery to the Paraburdoo mine site.
Bennco Engineering installed all units on-site in compliance with the RTIO Contractor Management System and Critical Control Checklists.
The Bennco Engineering team were responsible for all project management and delivering all maintenance work including off-site sandblasting and fabrication, on-site welding, and rigging.
