Surveying & Scanning
At Bennco Engineering, our Surveying & Scanning division delivers high-precision data capture and analysis services tailored to the unique demands of the mining and resources sector.
With deep experience in brownfield environments, our technical specialists work closely with clients and internal engineering teams to provide end-to-end lifecycle support, from initial site capture through to design integration and execution.
Our delivery model ensures continuity and accountability, with dedicated team members assigned throughout the project lifecycle. Equipped with the latest instrumentation and software, we offer innovative, client-specific solutions that drive accuracy, efficiency, and cost control.
Internal Scanning & Wear Analysis
We utilise advanced laser scanning technology to perform wear analysis on critical plant assets such as chute liners, transfer points, and structural components. As early adopters in this space, Bennco Engineering has developed proprietary workflows that enhance data accuracy and reduce turnaround time.
By integrating with our engineering teams, we deliver customised wear reports that include:
- Precise measurements of wear zones.
- Predictive maintenance insights.
- Lifecycle trend analysis for shutdown planning.
These insights are essential for minimising downtime, improving asset reliability, and reducing unnecessary maintenance costs.
Large-Scale Site Scanning & Spatial Mapping
Our team deploys a combination of GPS systems, 3D laser scanners, Plasma Cutter, Press Brake, and digital leveling tools to deliver high-accuracy spatial data across entire plant sites.
We establish a precision control network, install scan targets, and coordinate full-site scanning to produce:
- Spatially accurate point clouds.
- Orbital imagery and 3D models.
- As-built documentation for workshops, crushing circuits, car dumpers, and infrastructure assets.
This data supports engineering design, construction planning, and asset management with unmatched clarity and precision.
